My career hasn't been conventional.

Before design, I spent years travelling as a photographer and lived on four continents. I also worked as a personal trainer and was a barista for a bit.

An unusual start for a designer, but I learnt a lot of useful things which still come in handy, like how to communicate with different people and adapt to whatever's in front of me.

Since then I've designed digital products spanning automotive, fintech, messaging and streaming, most recently at Roku. I'm a generalist and I like it that way, just as comfortable launching new products as organising a design system.

I do my best work with clear goals, motivated people and the momentum to ship regularly.
